Safety

SAFE BY DEFAULT.

Every driver verified, every loading point public, every trip tracked. The basics, done properly.

Six guardrails.

01

Driver verification

Government ID, driver's licence, vehicle registration, and insurance — verified by a real person within 24 hours of application.

02

Public loading zones

Every loading point is a public, well-lit location — not a private address. You can see it on the map before you go.

03

Identity for passengers too

One-time email codes to sign up, profile photos encouraged, and a report button next to every user.

04

Trip tracking

Every trip is GPS-logged for the driver's safety and yours. Share your trip with a friend in one tap.

05

Insurance on every ride

All verified drivers carry valid commercial auto insurance. We require proof at signup, not just self-attestation.

06

Real humans on support

Email support@loadq.ca and a real human responds within hours — not a chatbot, not a ticket system.

What to do if.

01

During a trip

If you feel unsafe in a car — ask the driver to pull over at a safe public location. Open the LoadQ in-app emergency menu (red icon, top right) to share your location with 911 and a chosen contact.

02

After a trip

If something went wrong but you're safe — open the trip in your app and tap 'Report'. We read every report and respond within 24 hours.

03

Long-term issues

Disputes about pricing, missed connections, or driver behaviour go to support@loadq.ca. We mediate fairly between passengers and drivers.
