This Privacy Policy explains how Concord Express Inc. ("we", "us", or "LoadQ") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use the LoadQ mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Name — to identify you in your profile and to drivers / passengers you ride with.
- Email address — to authenticate you (we send a one-time login code by email) and to contact you about your account.
- Phone number — optional; used so drivers and passengers can coordinate a pickup.
- Profile photo — optional; helps other users recognize you.
- Messages and support requests — content you send through the in-app messaging feature or to our support team.
Information collected automatically
- Location — with your permission, the App uses your device location to detect the loading zone closest to you and to show drivers in your area. Location is processed in real time and is not stored in a way that is linked to your identity.
- User ID — a unique identifier we generate for your account.
- Crash and diagnostic data — anonymous information about app errors that helps us improve stability.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect only to:
- Provide the core function of the App — connecting drivers and passengers heading inter-city in Canada.
- Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
- Show you nearby loading zones and available drivers.
- Let users contact each other and our support team.
- Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud or misuse.
- Diagnose and fix crashes or technical issues.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or to track you across other apps or websites.
3. How We Share Your Information
We share your information only as needed to run the App:
- With other users you choose to ride with — your name, profile photo, vehicle details (for drivers), and pickup zone are shown to relevant counterparts.
- With our infrastructure providers — Supabase (database and authentication), email delivery providers (for one-time codes), and Expo / Google / Apple (for app distribution and crash reporting). These providers process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy obligations.
- When required by law — if we receive a valid legal request from Canadian authorities.
We do not sell your personal information to anyone.
4. Data Retention
We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain it (for example, tax or fraud-prevention records).
5. Your Rights
You may, at any time:
- Access or correct your personal information in the App's profile screen.
- Delete your account by emailing support@loadq.ca.
- Report or block another user from within the App (⋯ menu next to any user).
- Ask us what data we hold about you, or request a copy.

6. Children
LoadQ is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
7. Security
We protect your information with industry-standard measures including TLS in transit, encryption at rest, and strict access controls on our servers. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your data safe.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App.
